on 2010-01-01This guide looked like it would get me through the hard spots of this game, but it was little help. I try to follow it, but still could not make sense of it. It's now in my Wasted-Bucks collection!

on 2009-10-04This guide pretty much contains just the basics. In addition to the walkthrough, there are details on where to find every collectible--intel, gold, and tomes. I bought this really just to help me find the collectibles (not much in the way of online help for this game). There are also some notes on the weapons, veil powers, and upgrades, including some suggestions on what to upgrade, but I found these not to be to my taste. Overall, this guide fulfilled its purpose and I'm happy with it.
Some of the screenshots of the collectibles' locations are small and dark, however, there are also detailed maps for the three sections of town, as well as brief descriptions and if you just follow along in the missions (missions do not have maps) collecting as you go you'll have no problem. There were a couple unrecognizable screenshots with vague descriptions but there aren't exactly many hiding places and I eventually found them.

on 2009-09-19I purchased this guide to find a few of the gold and notes I missed on my first few play throughs. Even though the game itself isn't that hard and very linear, I won't comment on the meat of the book, which is the story walkthrough. I found the guide lacking in helping locate the gold and notes, that's what I'm going to focus on. Even though I eventually found all the items, the guide didn't help at times: tiny screen shots, some of those screen shots so dark you wonder what they took a picture of, some of the annotations for the screenshots mislead on directions(east and west are diferent) or details could have been more specific. I expected better from Brady than what they produced here.
